The Baden-Baden Fortbildungstage (BBF) for veterinarians and veterinary specialists will be merged into Deutsche Vet from 2018 onwards. International congress organiser CloserStill Media is integrating the training days of Thieme Group's Enke Verlag into its congress. As a media and educational partner of Deutsche Vet, Enke will continue to create content for individual sessions.

Enke Verlag, the host of BBF, is the market-leading provider of veterinary media and online services in the German-speaking area. Since 1989 publisher BBF has created a well-established platform for exchange among veterinary experts from all over Germany in Baden-Baden.

"When CloserStill launched Deutsche Vet in Germany in 2017, we saw that we represented very similar concepts," explains Dr. med. Martin Schäfer, Program Director Veterinary Medicine at Thieme Group. "It was therefore important for us to examine to what extent synergies could be used together. We will implement these now with our agreed partnership ", Schäfer continues.

"We want to deliver high-quality, targeted content at our show," said Rob Chapman, Managing Director of CloserStill Vet Group. "Due to the excellent network, the high-quality offers and content the cooperation with Enke creates the ideal prerequisite for this."

In the future Enke as a media and education partner will accompany the congress in its journals and organise selected programme segments together with Deutsche Vet. These programme segments will unmistakably bear the signature of Enke and continue to provide veterinarians a home for medical, scientific education. "We look forward to working with CloserStill. I am sure that we will develop an attractive programme for or audience together with other educational partners such as the Tierärztliche Hochschule Hannover and the English Royal Veterinary,"emphasises Martin Schäfer.

CloserStill Media wants to use the partnership to strengthen Deutsche Vet, which was launched in 2017. The next show will take place from 20th – 21st April 2018 in Cologne.
